Slow the reader down. Delay the answer until the final beat or page turn.
Sequence Director
Shape the panel rhythm.
A sequence is how individual panels become a visual sentence. CAS helps plan setup, pause, reveal, reaction, transition, and page-turn timing before the full page is composed.
Sequence Notes
Use clear cause and effect: attack, reaction, counter, impact, consequence.
Hold on faces, hands, silence, and body language before moving forward.
Choose what the reader knows, when they know it, and what remains hidden.
Sequence Handoff
Panel order becomes page rhythm.
Sequence does not own final page layout. It passes verified rhythm, reveal timing, transition purpose, and reading order to the Page Director.
- Panel count and order
- Reading tempo: slow, medium, fast
- Transition type: moment, action, subject, scene, aspect, or non-sequitur
- Reveal and page-turn plan
